The brainchild behind these new generation of gothic dolls is 15 year old Stefan, son of veteran toy maker Steve Varner. His idea was to create a series of gothic dolls that are fashioned after an actual subculture. In 2005, Bleeding Edge launched a new line, the highly Collectible Anime Dolls.
